a "masked kitty" dropped in...

had yet another guest today- this time it was a big kitty with a mask and a big, bushy tail- at least i think it was a kitty- it didn't smell like one, but it kinda looked like one. it was in the ceiling(seems that's how they get in), and he peeked through the big hole in the kitchen ceiling where it lights up- the human got all excited, and started chasing him around with a stick, beating on the ceiling, trying to make him go away, but he fell through the ceiling in the front room, i tried to go after him, but the human stopped me- i scratched him a few times for that(hehe), and locked me in the bathroom!- he must have thought i was going to be there a while, cause he brought in my food and water bowls, and a litter box, and left the light on. a little while later, the human let me out, i looked everywhere, but i couldn't find the "masked kitty".

i attacked a wild foot-beast last night!

late last night, i was sitting on the back porch(it's an enclosed porch, or "florida room", as the humans here in michigan call them(i wonder if humans in Florida have really cold air-conditioned "michigan rooms"?)), like i do whenever my human is out there- i have to keep an eye on him, keep him out of trouble, and i heard some sort of animal, maybe a big kitty, or one of those "masked kitties" they have around here, walking around on the porch roof, and then it jumped down onto the deck right outside the porch door. so, the human, being the stupid, curious thing that those pesky humans are, opened the door to see what it was... i heard it walk around out there, and then, just as the human closed the door, i saw something move real quickly right by the door, so, being as i'm the defender of the house, i didn't think twice- i attacked it! then the human made one of those awful human howls, and jumped up, and stepped back from the door!- it turns out that i had attacked one of the humans big paws!- it's so hard to tell what those things are, because they keep them in those cloth bags like that. the human didn't seem too happy about my bravely defending the house from his big stupid paw...

hmm.. this click-and-flash thingie smells funny...

had another "drop in" guest...

this time , it was different- this kitty dropped in a few days ago- i told him to be quiet, or the human would put him outside like the other one, he was doing ok, i'd warn him when the human was coming around, and he'd hide somewhere, but somehow the human figured out he was here(must be those opposable thumbs again, though i don't know how those help him to find hiding kitties)- i know it didn't have anything to do with us fighting over the food bowl at 6 AM...

i had a guest "drop in" yesterday...

so, for the last week or so, i've been hearing noises in the ceiling, kinda like there's a mousie, or some other critter up there, but it sounded too big to be a mousie. this morning, i found out what it was! all of a sudden, there was a big crash, and the thing in the kitchen ceiling that lights up when the human goes in there(i still don't know how he does that, must have something to do with opposable thumbs), fell down!- and with it came a kitty!- a grey one, a little bigger than me. the human came upstairs to see what it was, and just as i was face-to-face with the kitty in the bathroom, getting ready to "defend my territory", he picked up the kitty, and took it outside where it ran off- i never even found out the kitty's name!- i guess next time a guest "drops in" i'll have to tell them to do it more quietly...

today the human snuck up behind me with that evil little click-box he's been chasing me around the house with since i got here, and caught me on the 'puter... good thing he wasn't here a few minutes ago, when i was surfing all those "kitty porn" sites...
